Prescription & Medical Evaluation Policy

At Contoura Medspa, patient safety, legal compliance, and clinical integrity are our highest priorities. In accordance with state and federal healthcare regulations, as well as LegitScript certification standards:

1. Licensed Medical Evaluation Required: All prescription therapies—including Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), Estradiol and Testosterone pellets, peptide treatments, prescription nasal sprays, and injectable medications—require a valid clinical evaluation by a licensed healthcare provider prior to prescribing or administering.
2. No Questionnaire-Only Prescribing: Prescriptions are never issued solely on the basis of an online form or static questionnaire. Patients must undergo a formal in-person or state-authorized synchronous telehealth consultation with a licensed clinician, including appropriate diagnostic lab work and medical history review, before any treatment plan is initiated.
3. Jurisdiction & Licensure: Medical consultations, evaluations, and prescription therapies are provided exclusively to patients residing in states where Contoura Medspa's supervising physicians and medical providers hold active professional licensure.
4. FDA Approval & Pharmacy Sourcing: All pharmaceuticals, compounded preparations, and medical devices utilized or prescribed by Contoura Medspa are sourced strictly from FDA-regulated 503A or 503B compounding pharmacies or licensed US pharmaceutical distributors.
