After Care:

Avoid touching the treated area for at least six hours after the procedure. Do not wear make-up for at least 12 hours after the procedure. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures (e.g., sauna, steam room, intense sunlight or cold weather) for at least 24 hours after the procedure. Avoid strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours after the procedure. Do not consume alcohol or use tobacco products for at least 24 hours after the procedure. Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen) for at least 24 hours after the procedure unless advised otherwise by your healthcare provider. Apply an ice pack to the treated area for 10-15 minutes at a time, as needed, for the first 24-48 hours after the procedure to reduce swelling and bruising. If you experience any discomfort or swelling, take over-the-counter pain medication as directed by your healthcare provider. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions for any specific aftercare needs. Schedule a follow-up appointment with your healthcare provider to evaluate the results of the treatment and to determine if any additional treatments are necessary.
